Meta tags are basically a type of code (Hidden state), which are read by
search engine web crawlers which is also know as spiders and robots.
These tags are reside in head section of the webpage code .There
are mainly 4 types of search engine.
1- Robots (Title Tag)
2-Content-Type
3-Description
4-Keywords
Brief Description
Robots-Robots Meta tags tells the various search engine spiders whether
or not you had like to them to crawl through webpage as well as where
to start in their crawling activity
Example= Meta name="robots" content="index”, follow"
We can change the "index" to "no index" and the "follow" to "no follow".
2-Content Type-This tag tells the spider what type of page you are positing,
which helps the search engine categorize the lisiting.This also shows
that you are following (w3w) guidelines.
